David Yateman — Founder & President, Yateman Cinematics

Based in Kingston, Ontario, David Yateman is a filmmaker, storyteller, and the Founder & President of Yateman Cinematics. With a background in Broadcasting, Television, and Media Studies from Mohawk College, David has built a career around turning brand values into visually compelling, emotionally impactful narratives.

His passion for filmmaking began in high school, using his parents’ camcorder to create imaginative and often hilarious short films. Today, that same creative spirit drives his work as he partners with businesses, non-profits, and community organizations to produce story-driven content that inspires connection and action.

From heartfelt documentaries like Relay for Life and Ride for Dad, to dynamic brand videos and promotional campaigns, David brings a personal touch to every project. He takes the time to understand the soul of a brand and crafts stories that resonate deeply with audiences.
